OversightOS LLC operates the OversightOS platform at oversightos.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it. We collect only what we need to provide the service and we do not sell your data to anyone.
When you request a demo or create an account we collect your name, work email address, company name, and job title. When you use the platform we collect the information you enter including agent registry records, activity logs, incident reports, and control verification records. We also collect standard usage data such as pages visited, browser type, and IP address through our analytics provider.
We do not collect payment information directly. If and when payment processing is introduced it will be handled by a third-party processor and we will update this policy accordingly.
We use your information to operate and improve the platform, respond to your inquiries, and communicate with you about your account. We may send product updates and relevant information about OversightOS. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time.
We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted database platform with encryption at rest and in transit. User authentication is handled by Clerk. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure but we work to protect your data to the best of our ability.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you close your account you may request deletion of your data by contacting us and we will remove it within 30 days except where we are required to retain it by law.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. You may also request a copy of your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights please contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the platform and understand how it is being used. We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymized usage data. You can control cookie settings through your browser but disabling cookies may affect how the platform functions.
OversightOS uses the following third party services to operate the platform: Supabase for database storage, Clerk for authentication, and Vercel for hosting and analytics. Each of these services has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do we will update the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant we will notify you by email or through the platform. Your continued use of OversightOS after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
