About

We built the governance layer that was missing.

OversightOS started with a simple observation. Companies are deploying AI agents faster than anyone has built the infrastructure to govern them. The tools that exist were built for a different problem. So we built the one that was missing.

Why We Built This

The filing cabinet versus the security camera.

Most AI governance tools are filing cabinets. They help you document what your agents are supposed to do, build policies that describe intended behavior, and produce reports that summarize what you planned for. That is useful. It is not enough.

When a board member asks what your agents actually did last quarter, or a regulator asks you to prove a specific agent operated within its approved bounds at a specific moment, a filing cabinet cannot answer that question. You need a security camera. You need proof of what actually happened, captured at the moment it happened, in a form that holds up to scrutiny.

That is what OversightOS is built to be. Not documentation of intent. Evidence of reality.

The Founder

BG

Brahm Gicheru

Founder, OversightOS

Brahm built OversightOS after recognizing that the governance conversation around AI agents was arriving faster than the tooling to support it. Security teams and compliance leaders were being asked to prove control over systems they had limited visibility into, using tools that were never designed for autonomous agents.

OversightOS is built from that gap. A platform designed specifically for the people who have to answer for what their agents did, not just describe what they were supposed to do.

The Mission

Make AI agent governance something any team can actually do.

The platforms that exist today are built for Fortune 500 companies with large security engineering teams, six-figure budgets, and months to implement. Most of the companies deploying AI agents right now do not fit that description.

OversightOS is built for the mid-market security team, the AI Governance Manager doing this work without dedicated tooling, and the startup CISO who needs to prove control before the enterprise procurement question arrives. Real governance, without the enterprise overhead.
